Anwar Hasan

Regional Technical Manager – Aquaculture, Biomin Singapore Pte Ltd, Singapore

Mr Anwar Hasan joined BIOMIN in 2014. He is responsible for aquaculture in the Asia Pacific region, and has additional role as Global Species Coordinator since 2016. He has an MSc in Aquaculture Science from Bogor Agriculture University (IPB) Indonesia.

Anwar began his aquaculture career in 2004, working at a shrimp farm project. In 2005, after working with carp and tilapia net-cage farming for few months, he went back to pursuing his career at a shrimp farm in Indonesia. In 2008, Anwar joined DuPont Indonesia, and eventually became the Technical and Application Development Representative-Aquaculture.

With extensive experience in the shrimp aquaculture industry, Anwar’s knowledge is a balance of field experience, research studies, and aquaculture business development. He is the author of several articles published in aquaculture magazine, and presents regularly at seminars throughout Asia.
