Benny Ng Thiam Hau is Senior Hatchery and Farm Manager at KS Pekan Sdn Bhd based in  Pekan, Pahang, Malaysia since 2016. He manages hatchery operations and production to achieve key performance index. Benny also supports upcoming projects such as the new marine fish hatchery with the East Coast Economical Regional Development (ECERDC) fund; R&D for new species such as hybrid grouper, barramundi and other prawn species, and R&D collaboration such as low-cost feed and optimum water quality management practice in tiger post larvae.

Benny started his aquaculture career in marine shrimp hatchery operations with Aqua Life Enterprise and later with Applied Aquaculture Sdn Bhd as hatchery manager. He spent almost 10 years in various positions with Cargill Aquaculture Sdn Bhd’s hatchery until it was taken over by KS Pekan. Benny has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting from the Open University Kuantan, Pahang.
