Kim Tran is Head of Formulation at Grobest Vietnam, since 2021. She has a MSc degree in Sustainable Aquaculture under an AusAID scholarship from Curtin University, Perth, Australia and a PhD degree in Fish Nutrition under The Netherlands Fellowship Program at Wageningen University, The Netherlands. With a strong desire to support the aquaculture industry in Vietnam and motivated by her enthusiasm in research in aquaculture nutrition carriers, Kim has been focusing on the development of scientific methods for fish gut health management, feed additive evaluation in fish/shrimp diet, nutrient requirements aqua species. She worked as Global R&D Leader – Aqua at Deheus from 2019 – 2021.

Kim continues this leadership position by helping to develop different varieties of functional feeds, strongly supported by R&D on the balance between nutrient requirements for shrimp in different farm models, assessing the quality of ingredients including sustainable issues, and the cost at finish feed.
