Prakan Chiarahkhongman is Vice President of Aquatics Animal Health Care Products Specialist and Solutions Provider (AAHCPS), Charoen Pokphand Group Co. Ltd. (CPG). He is the official aquaculture technical representative and public speaker for Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF). In this role, he effectively communicates complex aquaculture information and conceptual ideas to both technical and non-technical individuals such as farmers, customers, clients, partners, industry experts, associations, societies, the government sector and general public.

AAHCPS has been providing technical backup and consultative services for CPF/CPG’s aquaculture customers and growers around the world who use CP’s aquaculture products and who are in need  of technical extension services from the Center of Aquaculture Technology in Thailand, namely India, Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Tanzania, Australia, USA, etc.

Prakan has presented 100-120 technical papers annually through the in-house technical training program, GSM meetings, virtual and in-person conferences internationally on shrimp and shrimp farming management practices, pond dynamics and water quality management, and disease mitigation programs.  He has published 60-100 technical papers, including scientifically AHCP products verification, aquaculture research and development information in local and international aquaculture magazines, CPF shrimp and fish news editor services, an and international aquaculture publication.

Prakan holds a PhD in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Kasetsart University, Bangkok Thailand and  is a recognized certified veterinarian (Cert.AqV) by the World Aquatic Veterinary Medical Association (WAVMA), in Denver, Colarado, USA.
