Andy is the Founder and President of Spring Edge Nutrition LLC, a consulting firm established in 2025 that serves leading ingredient, feed additive, and feed companies in the global aquaculture nutrition industry. He previously held multiple senior management roles in R&D innovation, technology management, and strategic marketing at Cargill in the US and Chia Tai Conti Group ( a Charoen Pokphand Foods company) in China. He has over twenty years of industry experience.

Andy has long focused on aquaculture nutrition and feed innovation. His primary areas of expertise include precision nutrition technologies, the application of sustainable raw materials, and the development of functional feeds. He is committed to advancing science-driven innovation that supports the efficient and sustainable growth of the global aquaculture industry.
Andy holds a PhD in Aquaculture Nutrition from Purdue University and an MBA from Concordia University, St. Paul, both in the US. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Aquaculture from Huazhong Agricultural University, China and his master’s degree in Aquaculture Nutrition from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in China.
