Ning Shinny Widjaja

Presently, as Director at PT. Sumber Luhung Tiga Ion, Ning leads product and sales strategy at a local distribution company, providing a robust operational and commercial perspective to the field. She offers over a decade of diverse experience in the aquaculture sector, characterized by a comprehensive understanding of the vannamei shrimp industry. During her tenure at Komindo Trading Utama (Global Gen), she was engaged with all aspects of the value chain.

Throughout her career, Ning has held significant leadership roles, including the development of the distribution channel for CJ Vina in Vietnam, the establishment of the hatchery business for SyaAua in Indonesia to support gold coin shrimp feed, serving as the Asia Pacific Business Director for Kemin Aqua Science, and acting as the SEA Director for Cargill Health Technologies. She previously held the position of Senior Vice President at Delos Aquaculture.

Ning has a Master’s degree in Aquaculture Sustainability from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland, alongside a business degree and a postgraduate diploma from Massey University in New Zealand. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Fishery Technology at Kasetsart University, Thailand, underscoring her dedication to promoting sustainable aquaculture practices.
