Lay Nguyen

Lay Nguyen is the Asian Business Development Manager at BioMar Group, where she leads business development initiatives and strategic partnerships across Asia. With more than 15 years of experience in aquaculture nutrition, Lay combines scientific expertise with commercial insight to develop sustainable and high-performance feed solutions for the aquaculture industry. Before joining BioMar, Lay held technical and leadership roles focused on shrimp nutrition, feed innovation, and product development across major aquaculture markets in Asia. Her work has included the development of functional feeds, fishmeal optimization strategies, nursery nutrition programs, and integrated health solutions addressing key production challenges in shrimp farming.

Lay holds a PhD in Aquaculture Nutrition from Auburn University, USA, and has authored multiple scientific publications in aquaculture nutrition. She is passionate about advancing sustainable aquaculture through innovative nutrition, alternative ingredients, and value-chain collaboration.
