Cynthia is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of PT Delta Marine Group, one of Indonesia’s leading aquaculture companies focusing on the sustainability of the industry. She has been instrumental in modernizing the company’s operations and introducing sustainable practices to improve efficiency across farming and processing activities, spanning Surabaya to Sumbawa Island.

Cynthia joined this family-owned company in 2016 and was responsible for managing the company’s properties and construction projects while learning to take over the group’s downstream business. She has a degree in Design & Architecture, specialising in Adaptive Reuse Architecture, from the prestigious and world-renowned Rhode Island School of Design. She has been utilising her design background to advance construction technology and increase aquaculture efficiency.

She is also Chairwoman of Petambak Muda Indonesia (PMI) or Indonesia Young Shrimp Farmers Association. It is a community that started with a group of second-generation business owners who specifically operate in the shrimp aquaculture industry. PMI’s activities include hosting their annual Shrimp Aquaculture Conference (SAC), a farmer-minded event to share knowledge and connect with stakeholders of the industry.
