Jeffrey is the Managing Director and co-founder of Kembang Subur Sdn Bhd (KSSB) since 2003. This is a prominent Malaysian aquaculture company specialising in shrimp hatcheries and grow-out farms. As founder of the company, Lee was instrumental in driving its growth. KSSB undertook a restructuring exercise in 2016 whereby it became the subsidiary of QL Resources Berhad (a leading agrofood business conglomerate in Malaysia) as part of the business expansion.

Lee is a Malaysian professional with extensive experience in finance, construction, aquaculture, and project management, holding leadership roles since 1989. He has held significant roles in professional associations, including Vice President and Secretary General of the Marine Fish Farmer Association of Malaysia, and has contributed as a speaker and scientific paper co-author on aquaculture topics. Most recently, he presented on the current aquaculture scenario in Malaysia and the potential of AI application at the Workshop on Artificial Intelligence & Sustainability Applied in Aquaculture, Republic of China (Taiwan), 2025.
